As service and event industry professionals we are committing to our Pittsburgh food, beverage, and event communities, our fellow team members, our guests, and our family and friends to put health and safety first.

We will follow federal, state, and local health & safety guidance, and strive to offer a safe, clean, informed, and responsible environment in our establishments, and those we work in, so that our staff and customers can feel confident in supporting our businesses in any phase of reopening.

As an SSA Participant, we promise to:

  • Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines, including masking and physical distancing requirements.

  • Continue leading in safe sanitation practices

  • Administer health surveys to all staff prior to shift start

  • Our indoor & outdoor seating meets all physical distancing guidelines

  • Hand sanitizer or hand washing stations are at all entrances

  • Clean and sanitize common areas and surfaces regularly

  • Clean and sanitize all tables and hard surfaces after every use

  • Place settings, utensils, menus, and condiments are sanitized after every use or are single-use 

The Safe Service Allegheny Member Promise is a part of the PRLA Restaurant Promise and is supported by the Allegheny County Health Department

*there may be an option to return to participation in SSA once criteria for reinstatement have been met
